Section 34, ch. 10, SLA 2020, is amended to read: Sec. 34.Sections 1 - 4, 6 - 20, 22, 23, 30, and 32 of this Act are repealed on the earlier of (1) May 20, 2020 [NOVEMBER 15, 2020]; or (2) the date the governor determines, under sec. 2 of this Act, that the public health disaster emergency declared by the governor under AS 26.23.020 on March 11, 2020, as extended by sec. 2 of this Act, no longer exists." Renumber the following bill sections accordingly. The amount authorized for transfer under AS 37.13.145(b) for transfer by the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation on June 30, 2020, less the amount appropriated in sec. 23(d), ch. 8, SLA 2020, estimated to be $1,325,100,000, is appropriated from the earnings reserve account (AS 37.13.145) to the dividend fund (AS 43.23.045(a)) for the payment of permanent fund dividends and for administrative and associated costs for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021. * Sec. 5. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to read: ECONOMIC STIMULUS PAYMENTS. The commissioner of revenue shall issue a $1,000 economic stimulus payment to each individual eligible to receive a 2020 permanent fund dividend on or before June 30, 2020. * Sec. 5. ALASKA PERMANENT FUND. The amount necessary for payment of $1,000 to each individual who is eligible to receive a 2020 permanent fund dividend is appropriated from the earnings reserve account (AS 37.13.145) to the dividend fund (AS 43.23.045(a)) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020, for economic stimulus payments for economic relief from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak to individuals who are eligible to receive a 2020 permanent fund dividend, and for administrative and associated costs, on or before June 30, 2020. * Sec. 6.
